Create a spiral with Trapcode Form
Here’s a quickie tutorial which shows how to create a spiral effect in After Effects using Trapcode Form. This comes from the man himself, Trapcode creator Peder Norrby.

Aharon Rabinowitz created a cool effect, Peel-away Vortex Transition using Trapcode Form. No tutorial yet but its definitely inspirational.
