Toolfarm :60 Ep.01: Automatic Duck
The first episode of the Toolfarm :60 is now available! We’ll be posting them at MyToolfarm and also they will be uploaded as a regular podcast to iTunes in the very near future.
Since we know you don’t have a lot of time, the Toolfarm :60 is a :60 second podcast (plus open and close) that will feature interviews, tutorials and whatever we feel like sharing. We’d love to hear your suggestions on what you’d like to see. We’ll be blasting out a bunch in the next few days that were done at NAB, but after that expect one per fortnight.
Episode 1 features a quick interview with Wes Plate of Automatic Duck, shot at NAB 09. Wes talks about Media Copy 2.0 and Automatic Duck’s new partnership with EditShare.

Are you going to NAB this year? Do you need a free pass to the show floor?
Yes Apple isn’t going to be there and neither is RED or Quantel … But Avid is, Adobe is, all of the other camera manufacturers are going to be there. Plus there’s a lot of other great small software developers that will be on the show floor so there’s going to be a lot to see. Plus the Final Cut Pro SuperMeet will be happening as well. You might can find a good deal on a flight if you try hard or fly Southwest and you can definitely find a good deal on a hotel. Get a pass to the show floor and get to Vegas. I looks like I’ll be there too and I am very excited. And I will not eat at any buffets this year.
To get your free pass that includes access to the exhibit floor and the opening keynote (a $150 value) go to http://nabshow.com/passport and enter this code: TP01.
If you’re NAB alumni, I’ve also received the code DM01 for a free Alumni Exhibits passport.
I wrote an article last year or the year before called The NAB Survival Guide. I’ll dig it up and repost it. I have a busy week planned once again, working between the Red Giant, Digieffects and Boris booths and even doing some book signings for my new book with Jeremy Hanke, Greenscreen Made Easy.
So, I ask again:
