Hot Tip! Make your own Computer/LCD Screen Cleaning Mix

This is not exactly a free plug-in or tutorial or anything like that but more of a Hint from Heloise type of tip. Do you use iKlear or a similar type of cleaner to clean your monitor, LCD screen, iPhone, etc? That stuff is expensive!

Did you know, like many other cleaning products, you can make your own?

Combine 1 part distilled water and 1 part isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) in a small spray bottle and spray with a dust-free or microfiber cloth, then wipe your electronics. Just make sure you let your screen dry before you power it up.

Another recipe I have heard is to combine 1 part plain white vinegar and 1 part distilled water.

It’s very important to use distilled water because there are no minerals in it. Also, don’t spray directly on your screen because it can get into your electronics if you’re not careful.
