I’m not one for superhero movies based on comic books, and I’ve seen quite a few. The films are often over the top with visual effects that seem to take precedent over the story. That said, I really like Benedict Cumberbatch so Doctor Strange went on my IMDB list as soon as I saw the trailer!

Film Masters has the project files available for download. This is done with clips of video, but I think the portal could be done very easily with particle plug-ins. Once my work computer is back from the shop, I am going to try and figure out the easiest way to do this. I’m thinking Trapcode Particular, Boris Continuum Complete 3D Particles, or something along those lines. I will figure it out and share it!
