Harry Frank
Harry Frank is freelance motion graphics artist in Detroit, Michigan with clients all over the US and all over the world. He also teaches After Effects and Combustion at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and is an Adobe Certified Expert in After Effects.
Harry started out as a recording engineer, studying classical percussion and recording engineering at the Fredonia School of Music at the State University of New York. Audio led to video, video led to graphics, and graphics led to animation and here he is.
Today, he uses a mix of 2D and 3D for his design work, focusing mainly on After Effects and Maya. His work can been seen on television every day, including NBC, Fox Sports, Spike, ESPN, as well as in the circles of the corporate video industry at GM, DaimlerChrysler and Delphi.
He still keeps his musical side alive with a small recording studio. He also likes to travel, enjoys cooking way too much, and plays in a 80’s tribute band called GOTO10.
Look for some great tips, tutorials and design samples at his website, gray machine.
