Stars!! Here’s a handy FFX preset to create some procedural stars in After Effects CS3. I’ve included some controls for the number of stars and a 2D position control.
Mostly, this uses Fractal Noise (what CAN’T this plug-in do?). But, to smooth things out, there is some Blur and Level adjustment. Don’t worry, though, I’ve made it easy to change.
