I’ve been totally slammed with the Adobe Creative Suite 3 updates, preparations for NAB and tomorrow my inlaws arrive from Japan and will be staying for a month. So, I apologize for the lack of updates, but I’m full of good excuses! I do have some things to post, and I’ll try and get a few in shape this week or next. I did a presentation at the SMArt Festival last Saturday and put together a quick fun project. I promise to post at least 2 things next week.

If you’re going to NAB, I’ll be working at the Apple booth, demoing FxPlug plug-ins for Final Cut Pro and Motion. If you’re going, stop by and say hello. I’m going to spend the next two weeks getting to know my FxPlug plug-ins intimately.

Harry will also be at NAB and he’ll be helping to set up the Zaxwerks booth in the Plug-in Pavillion in the South Hall.

Also, have you checked out the new features of AE CS3? They have some video walkthru’s at Adobe.com. The puppet tool looks so amazing! I did a comic strip when I was in high school and have tried to animate it several times, but it was a ton of work and I never had enough time to do it justice.

Also, bringing layer styles from Photoshop will streamline things for me so much. 3D Text! Integration with Flash! Custom Shapes! AE CS3 looks absolutely Smurfy! Leave some comments or post some of your thoughts to the forum at Toolfarm.
