Yet another use for Particular! Can you tell we all love Trapcode Particular here at the freemart?
This project uses a “Layer Grid” emitter the references a composition where you can place whatever picture you want. The result is this sort of “Half-tone” effect you see here.
The trick is to go into the “Options” section of Particular and adjust the grid from its default settings of 5×5x1 to a much greater value.
You’ll find that the photo will be missing from the comp. Just place your own photo in the “Emitter” comp.
