If you’ve been following John Dickinson’s great Creative Background Design training series, you’ve learned that Fractal Noise can be a very powerful tool to use as a starting point in background design and creation. To set up a seemlessly looping animation, there’s a few things you’ve got to do to get it just right. To make this easier, I wrote a simple expression and saved it as a preset. This expression automatically adjusts for composition length and frame rate, and has a slider value that determines the number of revolutions in the animation.
