Here’s a simple text preset using a few techniques I commonly use (also covered in a tutorial that I did). In short, combining the Set Matte filter with the AE Type tool can lead to some quick and easy results.

There’s some Fractal Noise in the background creating a slight fog effect, and
an Adjustment Layer with a little Glow and Trapcode Shine for a touch of pizzazz.

The type is freely editable on one layer.
